Brightfind loves PersoniFest. As Personify’s first and oldest partner (too soon for a shameless plug?) we’ve attended almost all of them. Last year we wrote about the top things to do while attending the conference. We decided to re-create the blog for 2017 when we realized last year’s blog was spot-on, so here’s an updated version or ICYMI, a brand new one.
1. Attend the Educational Sessions. Seriously. Go.
Maybe it sounds obvious to attend these, but there might be a time you consider skipping them to catch up on email. Don’t. Session content ideas came from the Personify community and classes are taught by customers, partners and Personify360 experts. They are educational and often entertaining. When Brightfind’s Solution Architect, Vincent Nguyen, told me he was participating in PM Poker I thought he was kidding. Nope. Turns out he truly is participating in an interactive session called—you guessed it—Project Management Poker. And while I don’t have the inside scoop, I bet Personify’s CTO, Dave Cooper, is going to demo PersonifyGO, which the Brightfind team is excited to see.
2. Explore the City with Sunday Funday Events.
Personify has set up some opportunities for you to explore San Diego before the conference kicks off. Go kayaking in the La Jolla Ecological Reserve or tour the USS Midway Museum. These activities allow you to see new sights and have some fun. Plus, they are a great way to get to know the people you normally only see on Personify Connect.
3. Meet the Partners
Personify’s partners are unique. They are an incredible resource for allowing you to extend Personify360; they are also a fabulous resource for brainstorming an idea or for sharing in their area of expertise—without expecting a sale in return. They truly care about the association community and want to help you succeed. Meet them all at the conference. You can find Brightfind at booth 23.
4. Meet Lions, Tigers, & Bear, Oh My.
Personify never disappoints with its closing party. This year it’s at the iconic San Diego Zoo. It’s a perfect night to simply have fun. And if you have not purchased a gift to take back to your kids yet—now’s the time.
5. Network, Network, Network.
Could we be anymore cliché? There is simply no other way to put it. At PersoniFest you meet people who you can count on year-round. Meet other customers, Personify staff, and partners who know your AMS/CRM, who know the challenges you are facing and who know your industry. This alone, will be worth your registration fee.
