Recently, Brightfind was fortunate enough to add two new employees to our team. Officially meet our newest User Experience Designer, Nazhin Beiramee and our newest Back-end Developer, Joseph Mayberry. Discover how they can help you, what they accomplished prior to Brightfind, and some interesting tidbits about each of them.
How will your new role help Brightfind clients be successful?
Nazhin: Through conducting stakeholder interviews, creating user personas, building wireframes, and observing usability testing, I help ensure that clients and their constituents meet their website objectives. (Editor’s note: During her interview, Nazhin stressed the importance of user research. Brightfind did an internal happy dance!)
Joseph: I’ll be one of the people behind-the-scenes. I’ll ensure our clients’ back-end website functionality works with their CMS and integrates properly with other third-party technologies.
How has your background help to prepare you for this new position?
Nazhin: Prior to Brightfind, I was a UX consultant for a Los Angeles-based studio. I bring visual design and user experience expertise in providing solutions that enable clients to engage their core audiences.
Joseph: For almost 20 years I’ve worked in web development for both the private and public sectors. I’ve spent last six years focusing on building client websites on the Ektron and Episerver platforms. (Editor’s Note: Brightfind is ecstatic to bring another Episerver expert to our team!)
Why did you choose Brightfind?
Nazhin: The opportunity to contribute to and learn from a smart and talented team of digital experts!
Joseph: I was drawn to Brightfind by the quality of people that work here. The company is highly regarded in the CMS developer community, and I wanted to be a part of that.
What do you like most about your new job so far?
Nazhin: I enjoy working closely with experts in project management, development, visual design, and fellow UXers to create innovative digital experiences for our clients.
Joseph: The people. Everyone here is very nice, helpful, and very good at what they do. It’s a pleasure to work with those types of people. (Editor’s Note: Joseph was not coerced in any way to give this response. True story!)
Share one fun fact about yourself!
Nazhin: As an animal lover, I have spent 10 years helping dogs at a local animal shelter and am now the owner of a sweet Shiba Inu. (Editor’s note: Dog photos available by request.)
Joseph: Although most people don’t believe it, I have a 3rd degree black belt in traditional Shao-Lin Kung Fu.
